Binicalsitx is a beautifully restored 250-year-old farmhouse (finca), set within 160 acres of rewilded farmland, just south of the historic town of Alaior on the island of Menorca. Surrounded by nature and within easy reach of the Mediterranean's best beaches, this peaceful retreat is ideal for family holidays or group getaways. The main house sleeps up to 12 people in comfort, with six spacious bedrooms and five bathrooms, all featuring high-end Bramley toiletries. There’s also a newly built two-bedroom annexe (completed in 2024), which sleeps an additional four guests, perfect for extended families or groups looking for more space.
The finca offers an array of modern amenities for a relaxed stay, including a 13m x 6m saline swimming pool, a private tennis court, and Wi-Fi throughout the property. The Sonos sound system ensures you can enjoy music throughout the house and terraces. Inside the main house, you'll find three double en-suite bedrooms (two with air-conditioning and ceiling fans, one with air-conditioning), a twin bedroom with ceiling fan and air-conditioning, and two interconnecting twin bedrooms with air-conditioning and a shared en-suite. The annexe has two double bedrooms (both with air-conditioning), a shared bathroom, and an open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area, plus a private terrace.
The owners have prioritized environmental sustainability in the restoration process. Efforts include underground greywater storage for irrigation, solar-powered hot water, and a water purification system to reduce plastic waste. The land is pesticide-free and managed as a nature reserve, providing a haven for native wildlife, including tortoises and red kites.
