Son Vent is a 300 m² Mediterranean-style villa in private, gated grounds a 12-minute walk from the centre of Deià, in the Serra de Tramuntana on the northwest coast of Mallorca. Built in the traditional Mallorcan way with stone walls and wooden shutters, it looks over wooded hills to the sea on one side and to the mountains on the other. It sleeps up to 12 guests, eight in the main house and four in an independent studio apartment, and is one of our luxury villas in Mallorca for families and larger groups.
Inside, terracotta floors, stone walls and wooden beams keep the character of a Mallorcan country house. The open-plan kitchen, dining room and living room, with a fireplace and deep sofas, opens onto two terraces for meals outside with views of the mountains or the sea. The villa also has a Bose sound system and private parking.
The main house has four double bedrooms, several with wrought-iron four-poster beds, each with its own en-suite bathroom. The independent studio apartment has a sitting area and room for up to four more guests, including two single sofa beds, and is best suited to two adults and two children. Published rates cover the main house for eight guests; the studio can be added at an extra charge, as explained under Good to Know. With both spaces, Son Vent is one of our villas for 10 or more guests.
A long terrace runs along the front of the villa, with several seating and sunbathing areas and a candlelit barbecue corner for evening meals. The private pool, which can be heated on request, is surrounded by a sun terrace and gardens with olive, palm and fruit trees, and a covered porch with outdoor sofas looks across the water towards the sea. Son Vent is one of our villas with a heated pool.

Deià is a village of stone houses on the slopes of the Serra de Tramuntana, below the Teix mountain, in a cultural landscape listed by UNESCO since 2011. The poet Robert Graves lived here and his house is now a museum, and the village has restaurants, galleries and small shops, a 12-minute walk from Son Vent.
