Villa Features
Villa Jardín is a restored 17th-century country estate in the middle of Mallorca, about 6 km from the village of Porreres, set in 150 acres of grounds with orchards and olive groves. It sleeps 18 guests in nine en-suite bedrooms, has a private chapel and a function room, and is one of our luxury villas in Mallorca for large families, groups and celebrations.
The house has been restored keeping its historic character, with stone walls, timber ceilings and antique furniture alongside modern comforts. There are two fully equipped kitchens, one of them professional, a dining room seating 16 and a living room with a fireplace, both opening onto the main terrace. The house has air conditioning and Wi-Fi.
The master suite and three further bedrooms are on the main floor, two bedrooms with dressing rooms and their own outside access are on the ground floor, and three twin bedrooms with walk-in showers are on the first floor. All nine have en-suite bathrooms, and several can be set up with a king-size bed or twin beds. A housekeeper, turndown service, pool towels every day, bath towels changed every two days and a weekly change of sheets are included.
The pool area lies away from the main house, with an outdoor kitchen and gas barbecue, an outdoor dining area, a bathroom, several chill-out areas and terraces. For weddings and celebrations the estate has a chapel and a function room for up to 100 guests; events require hiring a professional events company and carry a fee. Porreres is a farming town in the Pla de Mallorca, the flat interior of the island, surrounded by vineyards and almond and apricot orchards. Its main square, the Plaça de la Vila, is overlooked by the parish church of Sant Joan Baptista, and the town is known for its sobrasada. Just outside it, the Monti-Sion sanctuary sits on a hill with views across the island.
