Finca Son Fuster is a private 14th-century estate at the foot of the Serra de Tramuntana, about 2 km from the village of Alaró and around 25 minutes from Palma. Its restored stone buildings sit within 40 hectares of gardens and farmland, looking out to the twin peaks of Alaró. The estate sleeps 20 guests in ten en-suite bedrooms and is rented on an all-inclusive basis, with full board, drinks and staff on site 24 hours a day, making it one of our luxury villas in Mallorca for family reunions, celebrations and private retreats.
The historic stone architecture is paired with eclectic interiors and curated art, with influences from Spain, Morocco and the Americas. Guests share drawing rooms, quiet reading corners and a dining room for long meals together. A private cinema with surround sound, a fully equipped gym and a spa with sauna, hammam, treatment rooms and yoga areas complete the house, and the estate offers yoga, meditation, breathwork and sound bath sessions. The ten double bedrooms each have a king-size bed, which in nearly all of them can be separated into twin beds on request, an en-suite bathroom with shower, underfloor heating and air conditioning. Two bedrooms are on the ground floor with direct access to the terrace, and the other eight are on the first floor.
A professional chef and team prepare menus around guests’ preferences, using fresh organic produce from the estate and from across Mallorca, and all meals, snacks and drinks are included. The on-site team includes a house manager, concierge, chefs, a service team, a night manager, housekeeping and gardeners. Outside, the heated saltwater pool is surrounded by loungers and Berber-style tents for shade, with terraces and outdoor dining areas facing the sunset over the Tramuntana. Alaró sits at the foot of the Serra de Tramuntana, below the twin peaks of Puig d’Alaró and Puig de s’Alcadena. A well-known walk climbs through terraces of olive trees to the ruins of Alaró Castle on the summit of Puig d’Alaró, with views over much of the island. In the village, life centres on the Plaça de la Vila, with its cafés and restaurants.
The surrounding countryside is planted with almond and olive trees and vineyards, and the wineries of the Binissalem area are a short drive away.
