Villa Features
Son Verí is a restored Mallorcan finca on a mountainside on the edge of Valldemossa, in the Serra de Tramuntana, a UNESCO World Heritage landscape. The estate is recorded soon after the Christian conquest of Mallorca in 1229 and takes its name from the Verí family, who owned it from 1589. Today the house sleeps 12 guests in six en-suite bedrooms, looks out over terraced olive groves to the Bay of Palma, and is one of our luxury villas in Mallorca for families and groups who want privacy within reach of Palma, around 20 minutes away by car.
The renovation keeps the original character of the house: old floors, century-old timber beams and restored stone walls sit alongside light, contemporary interiors. The high-ceilinged living room, with sofas, a TV with international channels and a dining area, is built around the restored olive press that rises from floor to ceiling. The library keeps its original stone and arch, and the ground floor adds reading corners, a guest toilet and a fully equipped kitchen with a large dining table facing the garden through wide windows. The house has air conditioning throughout and underfloor heating for winter stays.
The house is laid out over two floors, with six double bedrooms opening onto a patio that brings light and air into each wing. All six have en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning. A separate cottage with one more bedroom and bathroom is available on request.
Outside, large terraces and gardens step down the hillside among centenary olive trees. There are sun loungers around the pool, a covered veranda with outdoor seating and an outdoor kitchen with a barbecue and dining table. For active days the finca has a tennis court, a gym, table tennis, bikes for all guests and wide lawns where children can play. Valldemossa: the Carthusian monastery, cobbled streets and walking trails into the Tramuntana
Son Verí sits on the hillside just outside Valldemossa, one of the best-known villages in the Serra de Tramuntana. The village is about 3 km away, a walk of around 25 minutes along paths that cross the estate. Its cobbled streets lead to the Real Cartuja, the former Carthusian monastery where Chopin and George Sand spent the winter of 1838 to 1839, and its cafés serve coca de patata, the local potato bun.

– Events are allowed in this property but only by previous agreement with the host and after setting events fees and conditions by contract, please get in touch for further information.
House rules:
– No parties or events are allowed in the property, damage deposit could be deducted automatically if this rule is not met.
– No smoking inside the house, it’s permitted in the outdoor areas only.
– In the event of extreme dirtiness, a fine of 500€ will be deducted from the damage deposit.
