Villa Features
Villa Circe is a stone-built house in Fornalutx, one of the villages of the Serra de Tramuntana in northwest Mallorca, with views over the village rooftops, the valley and the mountains. Set over three floors, it sleeps eight guests in four en-suite bedrooms, with a sofa bed in a second living room for two more, and has a heated indoor pool, a garden and covered porches. It is one of our luxury villas in Mallorca in a village setting.
The main living and dining area is on the upper floor, under timber-beamed ceilings, with a fireplace, sofas and satellite TV, and a staircase leads up to a second living room with a double sofa bed. The dining room has a long wooden table for the whole group, and the fully equipped kitchen comes with a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board. The house has central heating, air conditioning and a lift.
Three double bedrooms are on the middle floor, each with an en-suite bathroom, and two of them open onto a porch with mountain views. The fourth bedroom, on the upper floor, has two single beds and its own en-suite bathroom, and a separate shared bathroom adds extra space. A cot can be arranged on request.
The heated indoor pool measures 10 by 5 metres and can be kept at up to 28 °C, so it can be used outside the summer months, and its glass walls open onto the lawn. The garden has sun loungers and a barbecue, and the covered porches, with outdoor sofas and a dining table, look out over Fornalutx and the Tramuntana. Fornalutx is a small village of stone houses and stepped streets in the Sóller valley, surrounded by terraced orange and olive groves, at the foot of the mountains that rise to the Puig Major, the highest peak in Mallorca. Villa Circe is in the village itself, close to its squares and cafés.
The town of Sóller is a few kilometres away and the beach at Port de Sóller about 10 km, while Palma airport is around 50 km. Walking routes into the Serra de Tramuntana, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, start from the village.
